My marriage is over, and yet I am struggling to change my terminology. 

I don’t want to call him my ex husband – it comes with all kinds of baggage as a word. 

I call him my husband. He’s my next of kin.  

I just don’t want to be his wife any more. 

  
I need to create some new words.
