Google eyed

After outrage comes humour. 

In other words, when you “get over it” what you find on the other side of something that would have previously outraged you, is less indignation and more a good snicker. 

A problem is that good humour is much less motivating. Whereas outrage can know no bounds. 

I’m almost looking forwards to a good bit of outrage when it next comes along.
