I don’t feel any need to reciprocate sexual favours. I’m happy for the whole communal sex thing to be a big altruistic exchange of titilation.
This begs the question:
1. Is altruism the more natural human state, but the administrational burden of everyday capitalism forces us socially towards balanced reciprocity.
2. Is the smaller group in a sex club more conducive to altruism because it’s statistically more likely everyone will get a turn.
3. Is the anonymity of the persons in a sex club more conducive to the discarding of the ledger. Likely you won’t see those people again, so it’s easier to discard the ledger for one off experiences.
4. Do people/women feel more empowered in a sex club to say no and enforce boundaries. So any ledger of reciprocation is irrelevant because you can’t always hold up your end do the bargain anyways.
