The recent referendum is not legally binding, ya know.
I would say that the vote is so close (16 million v 17 million)… sorry, I mean 16.1 million v 17.4 million), that it would be easy to argue it’s not decisive.
Cameron could argue that those (about) 1.3 swing voters were all just women having their periods or something.
Perhaps they need another referendum to decide: if the vote is so close (as to be effectively 50:50) should we do nothing?
The only spanner would then be if the result of the second referendum was also 50:50…
