Fuck you Universe

If a computer can tell from the statistics that I am about to have a heart attack then how is that different from my fate (destiny). Nothing I can do can stop it?

If a computer can tell from the statistics around it that I am about to buy a new jacket from a specific store, then how is that different from fate (destiny). My finger is going to click no matter how hard I ponder the decision.

Interesting that I have been embroiled in two discussions recently (one about fate and one about big data statistics) both of which are bent on taking away my choices!

You have no idea what I am about to do oh omnipotent one.

The divine, the math, no one can tell.

I like my choices.

I can see how it is desirable to take choices away – especially if you wish to be absolved from your bad ones.

Oh sorry I got drunk and shagged that hot fireman last night and then went to a casino and blew the slush fund and drank too much tequila.

The maths made me do it.
